I told them I would take pics and post them on the blog so they could be famous...so watch for that post.

Banner Bargain

I love printing banners and hanging them in the classroom.  Right now at Staples you can print their large banner for only $10!!!!!!!! This is a great bargain! I just found this deal today and it ends on August 3rd.  So hurry over to their site and design a banner for your classroom! Here is a picture of the banner I created.

Envision Math Topic 2 Focus Wall

Here is the next topic in Envision Math First Grade.  If you are teaching the Envision series these focus walls are a great teaching tool.  The vocab words are printed in green because research shows that your eye is drawn to things printed in green.  I changed to this format in my first grade classroom and noticed a huge difference in how my students interacted with my focus wall.  I started out creating my focus wall on chart paper but have created those same concepts digitally so I can share them. You can get a copy in my TPT store.

Pig in a Wig

Love, love, love this cute story!  I have had lots of people contact me and ask if I would be creating units for all of the stories.  I have the majority of units 3, 4, and 5 complete and I am working diligently to finish all of them. :0)  Here is my newest unit for Pig in a Wig. Let me know what you think about it!
